Eggs and Bacon Halloween Costume

Here are two adorable and funny costumes you can easily spin out of one project, Eggs and Bacon and Breakfast of Champions. Want to include your small-fry? I show you how to scale down the measurements for your dog or kiddo.

I am going to show you how to whip up an easy costume using very basic sewing skills.

Add Note Edit Step 1 — Eggs and Bacon Halloween Costume  ¶ 

  • In colored chalk, sketch out a cracked egg onto your white felt and cut it out.

  • Mark and cut an X for your head to go through.

Add Note Edit Step 3  ¶ 

  • Free hand or trace an egg yolk that measures about 12" in diameter. Cut it out and pin and sew it to the belly area of your egg white.

Add Note Edit Step 4  ¶ 

  • Cut a 5 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece of maroon felt and add wavy lines to the sides.

Add Note Edit Step 5  ¶ 

  • Cut two wavy lines out of your pink felt and place one end a couple of inches below the neck hole and the other end a couple of inches above the end of the bacon. Sew on your bacon fat.

Add Note Edit Step 6  ¶ 

  • Add a mini bacon by following the same steps, but scaling down the bacon to fit your small fry.

Add Note Edit Step 7  ¶ 

  • Add a few trophies and you are Breakfast of Champions.

With the most basic ability to sew or glue fabric together you can hand make a fun costume for Halloween.
