When you post a project to Make: Projects or make any other submissions to it, in accordance with the Make: Projects Terms of Service, you retain ownership of the copyright in your submission and you grant us a nonexclusive license.

Your submissions should only include material which is your own original work, material in the public domain, or that you have the right to submit.

Also in accordance with the Make:Projects Terms of Service, you are welcome to make personal use of the Make:Projects content that is consistent with the fair use provisions of U.S. copyright laws. No commercial use of Make:Projects content is allowed. That does not mean that if you make something based on a Make project, for instance a messenger bag, you can’t sell the bag. It just means that you can’t sell the Make: Projects instructions for making the bag.
